 I've known Sean since 7th grade and we did a lot of surfing together over the years. His house in San Juan Capistrano became the hangout for all of us start-up guitar guys in high school. We were responsible for a lot of really poor and drunken renditions of Niel Young's "Helpless" in the village neighborhood around 1990. He has a real underground quality to his voice and sounds a lot like a young John Lee Hooker dipped into the surf.
